احتفالاً باليوم العالمي للمرأة، نظمت مؤسسة نور الحسين، بتمويل من مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين وبالتعاون مع الهيئة الطبية الدولية، حدثا حيويا في مركز نور الحسين في عجلون، حضرته 40 سيدة بين لاجئات سوريات وسيدات أردنيات شمل الحدث مجموعة من الأنشطة التي تهدف إلى التأكيد على أهمية المرأة في مجتمعنا وتعزيز قدراتها الاقتصادية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كانت جميع الأنشطة متماشية مع شعار اليوم العالمي للمرأة: "الإستثمار في المرأة لتسريع وتيرة التقدم".
بدأ الحدث بعرض تقديمي حول اليوم العالمي للمرأة، وبعدها قامت مؤسسة نور الحسين والهيئة الطبية الدولية بمشاركة خدماتهم وجهات اتصالهم مع المشاركات. وشمل الحدث أيضا حوارًا تفاعليا بين الهيئة الطبية الدولية، ومؤسسة نور الحسين والمشاركات حول موضوع اليوم العالمي للمرأة وأهمية تمكين المرأة اقتصاديا. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تناول الحوار التحديات والعوائق التي تواجه النساء في الانخراط في سوق العمل وأرائهن حول التغلب على هذه التحديات. كان النشاط الأهم في الحدث، عندما شاركت النساء الناجحات قصصهن عن التغلب على التحديات لتحقيق التمكين الاقتصادي مع المشاركات. في الختام، اختتم الحدث بتوزيع الهدايا على المشاركات وكتابة عبارات تحفيزية تحتفي باليوم العالمي للمرأة.
International Women’s Day / NHF - 06/03/2024
To commemorate International Women's Day, the Nour Al Hussein Foundation, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and in cooperation with the International Medical Corps (IMC), hosted a vibrant event at the NHF center in Ajloun, attended by 40 women, including Syrian refugees and Jordanian women. The event featured various activities aimed at emphasizing the importance of women in our community and promoting their economic empowerment.
Additionally, all activities were aligned with the theme of International Women's Day: "Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress." The event commenced with a presentation on International Women's Day. Following this, the NHF and IMC shared their services and contacts with the participants. The event also included interactive dialogue between the IMC, NHF, and participants regarding the theme of International Women's Day and the importance of empowering women economically. In addition to this, the dialogue addressed the challenges and barriers faced by women in entering the labor market and their opinions on overcoming these challenges.
A significant aspect of the event was when successful women shared their stories of overcoming challenges to achieve economic empowerment with the participants. Finally, the event concluded with the distribution of gifts to participants and the creation of inspiring statements celebrating International Women's Day.
