اليوم العالمي للمرأة/مؤسسة نور الحسين

احتفالاً باليوم العالمي للمرأة، نظمت مؤسسة نور الحسين فعالية في بلدية إربد الكبرى، الشريك التنفيذي لمفوضية الأمم المتحدة للاجئين، وبحضور 100 امرأة من الجنسيتين السورية والأردنية. شملت الفعالية مجموعة من الأنشطة المتنوعة تماشياً مع شعار اليوم العالمي للمرأة: "الإستثمار في المرأة، لتسريع وتيرة التقدم".
بدأت الفعالية بالسلام الملكي الأردني، تلاها رسائل توعوية احتفالاً باليوم العالمي للمرأة وتسليط الضوء على الأدوار الهامة التي تلعبها النساء في مجتمعنا وأهمية تمكينهن اقتصادياً. كما شارك في الفعالية نساء متميزات شاركن قصص نجاحهن في مجالات متنوعة، حيث ذكرن أهم التحديات التي واجهنها وكيف تغلبن عليها مثل الزواج المبكر والعقبات التعليمية لتحقيق تطلعاتهن. حيث أسست بعضهن جمعيات خيرية ومشاريع ريادية، وخاضت إحداهن في عملية الانتخابات. تُعتبر قصصهن مصدر إلهام للنساء، وأيضاً دليل على صمود النساء في مواجهة التحديات.
في نهاية الفعالية، قدّمت مؤسسة نور الحسين خدماتها الأساسية ومعلومات الاتصال، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على صحة ورفاه النساء كمت اجريت مسابقة تفاعلية لاختبار معرفة المشاركات بتاريخ اليوم العالمي للمرأة وتوزيع الهدايا تقديراً لهن.
International Women’s Day/NHF

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Nour Al Hussein Foundation UNHCR partner organized an event at the Greater Irbid Municipality. The event was attended by 100 Syrian and Jordanian females. The event showcased various activities in line with the theme of International Women’s Day: "Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress." The event kicked off the Jordanian anthem, key messages commemorating International Women's Day and highlighting the significant roles women play in our community.
The event also featured accomplished women who shared their stories of success across diverse fields. These women recounted the challenges they faced and how they managed overcoming these challenges such as child marriage and educational barriers, to pursue their aspirations. Some have established charities and entrepreneurial ventures, while one participant even nominated herself for the electoral process. Their stories serve as inspiration not only to women but also as a testament to the resilience of individuals in the face of adversity.
At the end of the event, Nour Al Hussein Foundation highlighted its essential services, particularly focusing on women’s health and well-being. And ended up the event with an interactive quiz tested participants’ knowledge of International Women’s Day's history and offered insights into NHF’s services. Attendees were provided gifts as tokens of appreciation for their presence and support throughout the event.
